My daughter Selena and I began lessons with Marcy K. when Selena was 11years old. I include
my self because as Marcy would explain things to Selena I chose to educate my self as well. I saw myself as Selena's
coach seeing that I am the one that works with her on a daily basis. Marcy was our instructor. I just want to let
Marcy know that I always give her credit for Selena's success because the foundation of her technique are from her teachings
and drills. I have had the same success with other players in teaching them what Marcy has taught me. Marcy is
a great instructor in that she explains thoroughly on what it takes in becoming a good pitcher, sacrifice, work ethic,
drive and keeping an even kiel on the mound. Marcy, Selena is now able to dominate a game with anyone of these
pitches in which we came to you to learn: Drop ball: Throws very well Drop Curve:
Your Favorite and Selena's Curve: Hits inside and outside corners Hard Slider Screw Ball Fast Ball: 58-60mph Change
up: 45mph Rise Ball Of
course in each game we pick a game plan on how we want to attack an offense. You can answer me this one question:
When picking game plans, we choose our pitches in pairs. example1: If we choose to go inside outside in the game, we
throw: screw, curves, fastball.
example2: If we choose to change speeds: fastball, change, slow curve( all three
of these pitches have different speeds)
example3: If we choose to change eye levels, we throw: Rise, Drop, Drop Curve
and fastball.
We have 3 different game plans because in many cases Selena will face the same team 2 -3 times in
a tournament and in some cases back to back. So, our thinking is that by having multiple game plans evem though
a team may face her multiple times she is a different pitcher on the mound throwing differently than the last game.
Does this seem logical to you or how do you come up with your game plans?
Anyway, Thanks for all of your instructions
and we will see you soon as we will always drop in to try and learn new ideas! Coach Martin Calvillo and Selena Calvillo
My daughter Selena took lessons from Marcy K. and in those lessons we a training device that was in the process
of being patent. It was a device for pitching. A belt that is worn by the pitcher with resistive bands attatched to the back
for the trainer to hold. The object is the create an explosive push off the mound. Is this device being sold yet? Martin

Our Answer - Our pitching/hitting resistance belt is patent pending. We hope to have good news soon and
will let everyone know if and when it is available.
My daughter was in your hitting clinic on June 10 and loved it! Both of us learned a ton which we can
take back to her team. Thanks.

My daughter got so much out of your clinic on June 10. She came home and showed her brother all she learned!
My kids have attended camps taught by high school coaches and got more out of the hour and a
half GenuWin clinic than they did out of a week's camp through our high schools. The difference is that Marcy explains
and breaks down all the steps involved. Having the girls work in smaller groups helped too. My daughter
is bright and a quick learner, but she said she felt intimidated by the other camps because they had a "jock" mentality
rather than a "hey, you can do this too, let us show you how" mentality. We will definitely join your clinics and
tell our friends about your informative, competive yet nurturing program. Thanks. Mary Ann H.
I took hitting lessons with Jackie here and it has tremendously improved
my game. Not only did I make my Freshman A team at Neuqua, but I finished the season with zero strikeouts and was voted
offensive MVP by my teamates/coaches. I can't be more pleased and I'm so thankful for all that you've helped me accomplish! Mary
